VPSI equips certain vans with fire extinguishers as a state or a contract requires. While we at VPSI hope it will not be necessary to ever use a fire extinguisher it is important to know what to do if the need arises.

Very Important – Use the fire extinguisher provided in the van to make a safe escape from the fire and away from the van. Save lives not property! Do not stay near a van that is on fire. We want you to save lives and injuries and get away from a van that is on fire. fireextinguisher

Spray the source of the fire not the fire itself. Become familiar with the instructions for use on the side of each fire extinguisher.
