One morning while picking up riders at our final stop, we noticed one of the tires was low and that we had picked up a screw in the tire. As our van was partially full of men who were Nascar fans, they proceed to think they were part of a pit crew and dispersed like fleas to tackle the flat. I don’t know if anyone else has experienced a flat in a 15-passenger van, but the task of getting the spare tire out is not a quick one. One person was raising the vehicle, another was loosening the lug nuts, two people were reading the owners manual to find the metal rod and associated slot to lower the spare tire. A Nascar pit crew they were not, but we had such a great time watching the experience.
