VPSI volunteer drivers are safe drivers, but accidents do occur. Based on data collected by VPSI, it may surprise you to know that most auto accidents reported to VPSI occur on either a Tuesday or a Wednesday.

These two days account for more than 40% of all accidents in a given week. Wednesday accidents tend to be more severe than accidents on any other day of the week.

The reasons for this are unclear but the message is clear: Drivers need to be cautious whenever they are driving but should exercise extra caution when driving on Tuesday or Wednesday. Don’t get caught in the midweek madness!
