The above photo was submitted to our Photos Taken From the Road contest by Terry Parrish. Since we just released our environmental stats of the month noting that VPSI vanpoolers saved a total of $7,795,694 on fuel in June, we found this photo timely. Parrish submitted the photo stating, “A little bit of ‘GREEN’ as we are saving money with VPSI Vanpooling.”
Unfortunately, we couldn’t award everyone an iPad for their awesome photos, but fortunately we can feature honorable mentions on the blog like the one above (!). For the next couple of months, we’ll be featuring some of the top photos submitted to the contest, so be on the lookout for some of the funkiest, wildest, silliest and [insert superlative here] photos from the road from commuters around the country.
