I commute from Dayton, Ohio to Columbus, Ohio (90 miles) everyday and I wouldn’t be able to afford to go to work without the vanpool because of high gas prices and not to mention the wear and tear that my vehicle would have to endure and the associated repair cost. Also the commuting experiences have renewed my faith in mankind.
One day we had a flat tire so we pulled over to the side of the road to change it and we had so many good samaritans pulling over to ask if we needed help that it actually slowed us down from changing the tire.
